Welcome to the City of Youth, an official space for youth engagement during the 30th United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP 30), promoted by the National Youth Secretariat of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, the Ministry of Women, the Presidency Youth Climate Champion - PYCC, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund - UNFPA. Located in the heart of the Amazon, Belém represents the cultural richness, social diversity, and environmental relevance of the region. The City of Youth was created to strengthen the presence and leadership of young people in the national and international climate agenda, promoting the exchange of experiences and the collective construction of global proposals for climate justice. The camp, within the City of Youth, will have a complete welcoming structure, including accommodation, bathrooms, security, a medical post, and a Safe Space for women and girls, ensuring comfort and well-being for all participants. Throughout the period, daily educational and cultural activities will be held, with panels, workshops, artistic presentations, and exchanges linked to the COP 30 program, connecting young people to the themes of climate, sustainability, and the future. More than just a physical space, the City of Youth will be an environment for coexistence, dialogue, and collective learning, bringing together popular, traditional, peripheral, indigenous, quilombola, and urban youth, strengthening intercultural exchange and the social participation of young people.
